The ²ÝùÊÓƵ is a proud Patron of the Devon and ²ÝùÊÓƵ Chamber of Commerce, supporting the city’s skills agenda as well as supporting hundreds of businesses from within the city and more broadly across the county. Together with the Chamber, the University helps drive innovation through access to services that drive research and innovation.
Working closely with , as our dedicated business engagement service, to support the county to secure opportunities for students and graduates and apply our world-class research. Staff and students can attend Chamber networking and business focused events and access online business information.
The ²ÝùÊÓƵ's Business School is proud to be working in partnership with the Devon and ²ÝùÊÓƵ Chamber of Commerce to deliver a range of activities to develop your skills and enhance your personal business network.
The ²ÝùÊÓƵ and its Business School has a close working relationship with the Devon and ²ÝùÊÓƵ Chamber of Commerce, that allows us to regularly take part in events and conversations around city development.

²ÝùÊÓƵ Area Business Council (PABC)

PABC consists of over 250 senior individual key sector leaders in ²ÝùÊÓƵ from the Voluntary and Community Sector (or 'Third Sector'), Central Government and agencies, and the business community, and considers all major economic issues in our city. The University’s Vice-Chancellor has a seat on the Executive thus ensuring the University remains at the heart of economic and social debate.
The PABC meets four times per year in the Council Chamber. A fifth meeting is held ‘in reserve’ and can be held at short notice to respond to any specific issue. Meetings are designed to provide debate, discussion and briefing under the Chatham House rule and are strictly non-party-political.
PABC became an integral part of the Devon & ²ÝùÊÓƵ Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and is now the economic policy advisory group to the Chamber.
