Led by law students and closely supervised by experienced staff, the Law Clinic provides a hands-on experience. It serves as a valuable platform for you to put theory into practice, while providing a vital service and making a positive contribution to the local community.
You’ll work under the guidance of legal practitioners with real clients making a real difference in the community. You don’t need to take any time out of your studies, and you can gain credit towards your degree, or as a volunteer.

A professional space to develop your legal skills and work with clients

The Law Clinic, situated on our main city centre campus, offers a welcoming and professional space for you to meet with clients. The clinical setting allows you to gain a deeper understanding of how laws function in practice, and apply legal concepts in real-life situations.
You'll also find sound-proof booths available for clients to discuss their concerns with you in a confidential and safe environment, and a large modern space for teaching, community events and workshops.
